BACK to SCHOOL edition
Friday, June 6th, 2008…krrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggg….
Loud, but that is the most thrilling and most waited part of the day everytime I went to school. I admit I am not the nerdy nor the dorky person you see at school but heck I do/did study sometimes… I / we used to study the leakage sent by the other section. hahahaha… darn.. without those leakage and all the glancing and hand signals I’d be dead by now. I am not saying I am dumb or something.. I am just tired studying specially those boring subjects… not to mention those gulky-petrifying instructors we have.
Well, enrollments is going on.. and I missed those time when I have to fall in those lines and as if feeling close to some new students… even remembered the time when someone called me classmate tho we wern’t just to get into details about the enrollment process… until now we’re friends, tho we didnt make it to be in the same class or room.
It will never happen again… but for sure… one day we will all gather from some catching up time… I am guessing about a decade… hehehe…
GO GURL (pitbull feat. trina and young boss)
Anyway, kahit di na ako pasok sa school I just want to feature some school in Davao. Of course I would give special treatment for my own school.. but I am not saying it is one of the best.. BUT for SURE we are the best.. contradicting!
1. SAN PEDRO COLLEGE (my own)
One of the most contemporary school in Davao. They offered different kind of courses but it is most populated with student enrolled at BS Nursing department. Keeping in tract being the second in terms of population is the BS MedTech department. Aside from that they offer courses like BS Psych and more… lolz… what a shame… i actually dont know much about the courses they offered neither I am too tired to browse the net for their link. But heck, if you want to check the school it is along c. de Guzman Street, beside Holy Cross of Davao. If you are still not familiar with the place it is situated behind Gaisano Mall of Davao. Most of the rooms now are fully airconditioned while some are still not. Either you complain because it is too COLD or it is to HOT… that would be enough reason not to attend the class.. lolz.
Ooopsss.. I cant find any link for the schools website but anyway…. here is a featured article about the school. Click here.
Well, I dont know much about th school in details but I know some of my friends went in there. Way back 1800’s or 1900’s Davao Doctors College (DDC) is well known nursing school than San Pedro College. I dont have any idea what happened then. Anyway, if you will ask the locals they would say that DDC belongs to the 3top nursing school is the city.
For all those who doesnt know where DDC is, it is located at Malvar Street along its own Hospital - Davao Doctors Hospital.
Learn more about the school. Click here.
Brokenshire is one of the top nursing school in Davao - that is if you are into Nursing. Anyway, ask the locals and they would tell you that it is located near a semetery… hehehe.. well, there is nothing wrong with that nor to be scared about.. at least you dont have to worry where to get a cadaver. hehehe.

One of the well known school in Davao would be it. Although they offer nursing course just recently they prove that they can go with the trend. If I am not mistaken, they openned Nursing around 2002 or 2003 and consistently they manage to get on top (but of course kami yung top most.. hehehe second sila sa amin.. hahaha). They offer various courses which I hav no idea what would that be.
But to be honest, if I was not enrolled in SPC for my Nursing courses I’d be in ADDU taking up Architecture. ADDU is best known for its corporate courses and alike… a little eavesdropping Ive heard.. ADDU never and would never offer Nursing course. I dont know if Mla has it or other branches but that is what I have heard. I dont know how true that info is.
Anyway for the link .. click here.
UM has two school site which is in Ponciano / Bonifacio and in Matina as their Main Site. They offer different kind of courses coupled with a cheaper enrollment fees. For the link click here.
HCDC has various school sites within the city. But I think their main site is along SPC campus at C. d Guzman Street. If I am not mistaken HCDC and SPC is a sister school ( I dont know why they call lit sister tho.. mga addict!!!). The school is well known for its MARITIME and Educ courses. For the link click here.
…………..
I am not familiar with the other schools, so maybe Ill just add them later. Meanwhile Id like to share some moments during my college days. Apology for the limited information I gave. Nevertheless I provide some links to each schools homepage, so that would help a lot.
